Neuro Pathway Mapping™

Thoughts Are Like Water

Imagine a river. A river always follows the path of least resistance.

In other words, water goes around obstacles, and it always flows towards the lower point. When a river flows for a long time, it creates a path. The longer the river flows along that path, the deeper it gets.

Once a river's water level rises, it can break through walls and barriers and flood the land around it. We all have seen the images of what that looks like.

Thoughts and habits work the same. The stronger a belief or habit, the stronger the pathway. Beliefs and habits can become so powerful that they start to take over and influence every part of your life.

However, using a variety of techniques, and with some effort, you can change the direction of that pathway and create a new thought or behavioural pattern.

Neuro Pathway Mapping™ puts you back in charge of your future.

What does Neuro Pathway Mapping mean?

Neuro

Neuro stands for NeuroScience and Neuro-Linguistics. Neuroscience is the science which deals with the structure or function of the nervous system and brain.

Neuro-Linguistics deals with the relationship between

language and the structure and functioning of

the brain.

Pathway

A pathway is a series of connected nerves along which electrical impulses travel in the body.

Thoughts, feelings, habits all have their predetermined paths.

The longer you've had a habit or a belief, the deeper the pathway is. It is those pathways that need to be changed and altered to see change

in your life.

Mapping

Neuroplasticity - or brain plasticity - is the ability of the brain to modify its connections or re-wire itself.

Mapping refers to the process of developing new connections and changing new pathways through mindset exercises, experience and other activities.

How Neuro Pathway Mapping™ works

Neuro Pathway Mapping™ is a collection of tools and philosophies that together help you shift thought patterns and beliefs.

01

set the destination

We start with where you actually want to end up. Not a vague sense that things should be better, but a specific picture of what changes: how you want to show up in an argument, what you want a relationship to feel like, who you want to be when the room gets difficult. Everything after this is measured against that.

02

read the maps

We trace the pattern back to where it was learned. I work with kinesiology and muscle response testing here, because the body registers what the thinking mind has learned to talk over. It is a direct way of finding which pattern is actually running, rather than the one you have a good explanation for.

03

recalibrate the paths

This is where the pattern shifts. Guided visualisation, hypnosis, Time Line Therapy® and meditation reach the response at the level it was formed, rather than the level you understand it at. Repetition is what makes it stick. The brain strengthens what it uses, so a new response has to be run often enough to become the one that arrives first.

04

do it for real

Between sessions, the new response gets used where it counts. In the conversation you have been avoiding, in the argument you keep having, on the third date. This is the part that makes the change hold, and it is also where you start noticing that other people are responding to you differently before you have consciously decided to do anything.

The Power of Neuro Pathway Mapping™

Change is sustainable

The change is sustainable because it is built the way habits are built: through repetition rather than just insight. You learn the techniques, and you can use them again and again without me.

New patterns take hold

Patterns stop running unnoticed.

You recognise the moment you are in one,

which is the point at which you get a choice about it.

You respond differently

Not just knowing what you should have said.

The other reaction actually arrives, in the moment,

before you have talked yourself into it.

People see you differently

You notice it before you have consciously changed anything. In how conversations go, how much room you take up, and who is drawn to you.
